I think if their was no eye pokes that would have been a five round war.
As far as aldo i never thought he was great. I never liked barao either. Both mediocre brawlers IMO

I was hoping for more in that fight myself, I agree. But when Stipe landed flush on DC and nothing happened, I knew **** was over. 250 pound DC could KO a statue nah mean?

I thought it was fishy how dc couldn't give stipe a rematch cause he was waiting for brock then all of a sudden he's fighting derrick hot balls lewis with a supposed hand injury.
I think dc will b ducking stipe for a long time.

How do you duck a guy you KO'd with ease? Stipe got exposed. Plain and simple. Needs 3-4 months of heavy clinch drilling. I love Stipe but DC not only ate his best combo but knocked his ass out in 1 round. Stipe will never fight DC again and doesn't deserve to either.

C'mon first dc said he wasn't gonna give stipe a rematch untill he faught brock.
Then when realized brock fight was a long way away he said that his hand was hurt.
Now all of a sudden hes fighting derrick lewis a guy with about a 1% chance of winning.

The finger pokes put the whole win in question. We dont know if stipe even seen that punch and if not we dont know why. was it just a good punch and a rematch ends the same way.
Or was stipe blinded by the pokes.

And also im pretty sure stipe hurt dc early on. Dc took it like a champ but stipe hurt him for sure.
I really just watched it again half an hour ago.

Perfect gameplan? He grabbed Mouse and threw him around like a little boy. It was pathetic. Mighty smoked that clown and couldn't do it again? Why? because his wrestling is trash. Watch mouse vs Elliott. Even his top-game is sketchy. You'd think a guy who spent most of his life in a Pankration molded environment would know how to wrestle but nope. Spent too much time on the octopus guard instead of defending TD set-ups from clinch. 


You won't find a single NCAA Champ in the last 10 years get taken down by a inside leg-trip. Its grade-school stuff.

Best well rounded fighter

Best well rounded fighter was Mighty Mouse till UFC got rid of him.  Dana White is stupid and they hate on Mighty Mouse for being humble and what fighting is supposed to be about. Not this stupid wanna be wwe wrestling McGregor bs talking trash only to get your ass whooped.   No one was as well rounded in all aspects as Demetrious. He shouldn't of even lost his belt. Even if that other guy won the fight he didn't do enough to be the longest reigning champ in the ufc.  A lot of people had Demetrious winning 3 of 5 rounds and some had it the opposite. Either way he didn't do enough to win the belt. Mouse had more strikes, just cause the guy took him down a few times don't mean ****. Plus DJ got right back up and nothing ever became of the takedowns.  UFC some haters.

Well said. Ufc uses decisions to pick the winner they want. 
The writing was on the wall for dj b4 that fight and they were not letting him go with the belt.
Watch teddy atlas talk about how currupt judges are. If anyone thinks mma is not the same u are mistaken.
U ever wonder why bad decisions keep happening? It's cause they're suppose too.
