Does this make any sense to anyone else? Bealltor is creating an 8 man Welterweight tournament, with Rory competing in it, to decide what? The division already has a champion, and it's not like they're looking for a contender, because the champion is in the tournament. It would only make sense if Rory beats Mousasi, vacates the belt, and doesn't compete in the damn thing. Yet that's a lot of ifs, and Rory is said to be joining after the Mousasi fight. Bellator is starting to really piss me off, I just don't get it.

I was down with a welterweight tournament, and still am in general, but I didn't think Rory being in it made much sense. He's the belt holder and I figured the winner of the tournament would get the title shot. It's strange for sure but will probably still have some glorious violence, which i'm all for. Bellator has a good WW division so it should have some interesting matchups.

The only thing I wish Bellator would do with the tournaments is hold the opening round all on one night. I hate them being all spread out.
As for the fighters already in, Lima, Koreshkov, MVP, Daley and MacDonald, I'd like to see Storley, Gracie added as for the 8th spot I'm not really sure. I don't want Koscheck or Fitch in there really, and Larkin might need some more build up at the moment. Perhaps they sign someone new and throw them right in?

Why the heck are they putting it on DAZN? That's seems ridiculously stupid to me if that ends up being the case. And as I read article just posted I see they are streaming it exclusively there. Wow! Nobody is going to see this event now.
