That was my first guess a while back, but since then Dana has nixed the idea of Lesnar v Mir III, I'm now leaning towards building the WEC champ.

I agree with you but I feel that the spike guys will reject Pettis and the winner of Maynard/Edgar as coaches because there's no beef. If you look at the past four TUF's the coaches hated each others guts.

Why wouldn't the best thing be a buildup towards UFC: Brazil... meaning, have a Brazilian coach involved.

Timing wouldn't work out great for the Brazil card. That card is supposed to be at the end of August, where the spring TUF coaches usually fight in early July on the 4th of July weekend.
