i think i went 10-5 in GFL card. you can look up the results. too many to list. marcus davis won by first round sub. i think 2 fights had different fighters in them so 15 out of 17 went off as planned.

What do you mean when you say Shinya CAN'T win in America? He's had two fights and he's gone 1-1, Gil's top three and Beerholm isn't a joke. BUT, Aoki does do better in Japan as the ring is better suited to his game.

Lets see here, he's been fighting in a ring under JMMA rules his whole life, he's had 2 fights in the US/Cage. Which do you expect him to do better in?

And your question dosen't make alot of sense because he has beaten someone "tuff in America" and he has also won a fight in a cage, as @fglop already pointed out.

He beat Beerbohm who is...tuff, in America, in a cage. He lost to Gil who is very good and a horrible match up for him. His striking is weak but his JJ is top notch.

Yeah, i feel like if aoki came over here he would fair quite well.

I think it's all about the specific matchup for Aoki.   If he were in the UFC I think he'd pick up a few submission wins and also pick up a few concussions.  He's too specialized (or, not well rounded or athletic enough) to go on a long win streak against top UFC talent. But that doesn't mean he can't get wins... he's a freak of nature submission artist.

i would want to see how he fairs against top wrestlers in the UFC, not sure if hed lose alot of decisions. or win alot of subs.
