I can't wait for this fight and I'm pumped Rampage has been training hard. I hope Jones does try to keep the fight standing so we can see a war.

I think Jones is just going to be too much for Rampage. Jones is too dynamic, hes going to be throwing all types of strikes and is going to overwhelm 'Page. I hope Im wrong but I really don't see Rampage winning this fight anywhere.

In terms of dynamism, people kept saying essentially the same thing about Machida, don't get me wrong he's a very good fighter, but the belt hasn't been successfully defended since Rampage beat Dan Henderson in 2007 (yeah I know Rua/Machida technically counts but whatever, Rua won the fight) so I'm not buying into the hype just yet.  We need to see how Jones chin reacts to a Rampage hook first before I jump on the band wagon

i think this is one of the first fights in ahwile that no one is completly sure who is gonna win

jones is a beast but if rampage comes in hungry he has a pretty good chance

i picked jones by 4th round tko but i know rampage could end this fight at any time with one right hand

The only reason I don't feel 100% on my Jones pick is because Rampage literally possesses the power to win.  All he needs are a few clean punches on Jones and he will knock him out.  The safer pick for me is Jones because I think he can easily take Rampage down, as Rashad did, and batter him on the ground.

When you are one dimensional in anything your chances of losing go way up. Everyone says one punch from Rampage and that's all it will take to end Jones. This is true but what other then Rampage's hands does Jones have to worry about? Flip that and what does Rampage have to worry about? Dynamic striking, kicks, knees, elbows etc. Takedowns and brutal ground n pound along with some very good submission wrestling. Jones is more of a complete fighter and that is why he will retain his belt.

@ live2wrestle... exactly! i think the first 2 shoots are crucial.. if rampage can stuff them he is already in the mind of jones...

1) From what we've seen Jones doesn't shoot in from the outside for traditional double leg takedowns. He uses trips and throws once in the clinch.

2) We haven't seen anybody be able to stop him from doing so if he wants.

3) I don't see why Jones will want or even need to try and initiate the clinch to do so. He has a huge reach advantage and the more diverse striking attack.

There's a reason why Jackson is +400 when he's never even been at +200 against anyone before.

Jones may infact be the favourite, The odds may be stacked against Rampage fair enough, But what the odds dont know is this isnt a math test, This is a completely different kind of test, One where passion has a funny way of trumping logic, No matter what the stats may say or the experts might have predicted when the fight is on , All bets are off!!! WAR RAMPAGE.

Yeah Rampage is delirious. Rashad doesn't lay on anyone unless he's punching them in the face at the same time. This is just a case of a guy being bitter over getting his azz beat by another guy.

Jones will win. Remember how everyone thought Shogun was going to be Jones' hardest fight? That was just a beating. I doubt him every fight but he consistently glides through these guys.
