Prediction: wrong Kelly   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 3

Ok, betting against the conventional wisdom and in line with my country of birth, so any slights in the vein of bias are taken and accepted. Now on to the reason why I think a 3.5:1 PERRENIAL underdog in Dan Kelly is going to shock the world..... once again vs. the aggressive and athletic Brunson. Let's start with Brunson and work our way to how Dan solves that puzzle with his attributes. My opinion of Brunson is that he isn't any one thing in a conventional sense. He gets ko's yet I wouldn't call him a striking specialist, he has a wrestling background but his shots don't demonstrate a deep technical ability. I suppose a technical brawler might be the best way to describe his performances of late aside from the Anderson fight. Derek has a scrappy style, often finding his greatest success in scramble type situations, however this is what found him on sniffing Whittakers feet in Australia. His greatest attribute would be his athleticism as this is the bedrock of his offence and most of his success, when the gas tank fades so does his presence in a fight. Mentally I consider him on the weaker end of the spectrum when comparing to the upper echelon of 185,

Prediction: correct Brunson   correct KO/TKO   wrong Round 2

Brunson has faced the stiffer competiton during his time with the UFC, Kelly is tough and has an awkward style but I think Brunson's punching power will be the decider here.

Prediction: correct Brunson   correct KO/TKO   correct Round 1

I will be pissed if Kelly wins this. I picked against him last time when against Rashad.
