Khabib goes to the hospital. It ruins a card I had been looking forward to for months.  Not blaming him, these things happen and he pushed his body as far as it would go. Cancelled the card but watched the co-main/main, and caught replays of the other ppv fights. Watched the prelims last. Had two odd scores to me. (Thought teymur vs lando was 28-27 and scored the main for wonderboy but not terrible decision). Main event was anticlimactic until the last minute of the fight. Then the Vegas commissioner (or someone involved in the scoring) is at the post fight presser. Another weird event was hunt was Ko'ed and not reem. I know both are k-1 strikers but if you held a gun to my head and said pick who is going to sleep in that fight, I would never pick Mark.

But hey, damn it, we would be ****** fight fans if we didn't talk about Elkins. What is that kid made of? He just beat a blue chip chip can't miss prospect with heart alone. That goes in my never will I ever forget that performance file. What an odd night. But the good news boys. Me and the wife had a great night.

Elkins pretty much secured his spot as the greatest comeback of the year already, unless something REALLY crazy happens.

Apart from the comebacks of Elkins and Alcantara. Pedro, Calvillo and Teymur were the higlights for me. Honorable mention to the ubber-underdog Kelly, he keeps doing even though he has such a weird-ass striking game... somehow that works alright for him.

@vazio

I was so impressed with that performance. He just has that thing in him. He refused to quit well past the point where most people would have conceded defeat. That should have counted as 5 wins. Overall 209 was a good card. I just thought the card was odd. But even the main event, for as much of a lack of action as there was, had me sitting there watching intently because I knew any mistake by either guy could be the end.

Elkins was impressive. Too bad he was not part of my parlay.

@Rappin Who was on your parlay? And was it real money or Tap Wagering league?
