"UFC'S ALL-TIME BEST IS UNKNOWN DUE TO SILVA, ST-PIERRE'S AGE DIFFERENCE
When MMA fans discuss who is the "GOAT" (greatest of all time), they never mention the age difference between Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre. Silva is 36, and St-Pierre just turned 30. When Silva was 30, he lost to Ryo Chonan via submission in a PRIDE fight. There was no talk at the time of Silva being a great fighter or the pound-for-pound best. He was 31 when he beat Chris Leben and started his win streak in the UFC. St-Pierre has accomplished a lot more than Silva did by the time he reached 30. St-Pierre is always improving, like getting Freddie Roach to help him with his stand-up. There is no telling how much he will improve in the next couple of years. Silva is at the end of his career, and if we froze time now, he would be the best of all time. But St-Pierre has a few years yet to improve and gain more confidence in his abilities."
