From a pure 'Mma perspective': Jones is the goat and really have no **** to prove to anybody in this division. He surely deserve a titleshot when he will be back. You can't say he don't based only on the fact he underperform against OSP. This is non sense.
From a more 'moral perspective': we can argue on whether he deserve a shot or not after all the drama he caused (failed tests etc etc)

I say he dont deserve a shot based on the fact he does not have a convincing win since more then 2 years.
But considering theres not too many contenter in this division, it will not be as worst as GSP getting a 185 shot!

Gus beats jones for the title, Rumble KOs Gus to win title. Cormier defeats Rumble in his first defense gaining undisputed title, then defeats Gus in his first defense. Now Rumble has a chance to get his title back. War Rumble.
