due to opponent weight issues? The guy he was going to fight by the way, has a 0-0 record. Serious question: is Baby Slice trying to become a real bonafide mixed martial arts competitor? If the answer is yes, then why wasn't he scheduled to fight an actual fighter? If the answer is no, then why should we watch it? I'm tired of people watching mma to see celebrities like CM Punk and Baby Slice who are not competent in the sport.

@buffalo

Are you serious? Baby Slice was going to fight someone on his skill level, as he was going to make his pro debut. An 0-0 fighter vs another 0-0 fighter makes sense, regardless of who they are in terms of their name value. Jesus man, you make it out like they were giving him an 0-8 fighter to start.

I am serious. A 0-0 guy fights another 0-0 guy. Thats not quality mma.

While most 0-0 fighters aren't fighting on TV, I can tell you most of the fighters making their pro debuts are fighting fighters with similar records to this. You can look on this site at any of the regional shows and you'll see a ton of 0-0 vs. 0-0 fights. His opponent had quite a few amateur fights though, most not recorded on mma databases due to states not sending results to them.

@buffaloben  So what would you rather see happen?  Have him get fed to Patricio Pitbull?  Where was all this outrage when AJ McKee was beginning his MMA career in Bellator rather than a lower league?  Besides, I doubt that Baby Slice will be fighting on the televised portions of cards for his first couple of fights.  They will make him a featured prelim fight for their prelim streams like McKee was and build him up before they put him on the main card.

I'm not interested in seeing this kid fight on TV at all actually. Why are you?

@buffaloben  Well not right away.  But why not?  He has built in name value and I am genuinely curious if he has any potential to be good.

His last fight was walking distance from my house and didn't go,if that's any indication of how much I want to see him lol.With Bellator though, they'd milk anything they can get with his name and with a single Bellator win I wouldn't be surprised if he was on the main card considering Coker will do anything for ratings.I don't really care what Bellator does these days,I skip most events.

All you guys are negative nancies with this Baby Slice ****

Who gives a **** if he's on a higher place in a card, it brings ratings in, it's a smart move.

He wasn't even scheduled to be on the main card with his fight this time, was he?
