Cybork will put together a few combos and this one will be done early.

After all the hype, and after I watched the clip of her weight cut to #140, this one is definitely going to be one to watch. I put her as KO in the first. She's not only got the experience, but also got heart a mile wide! Her only hinderance is dropping weight!!

damn

the hate for cyborg has to be the most "just bleed" thing ever. The complete and utter lack for her well being and slighting of her person is appalling to say the least.

@Slong In fairness she kind of did it to herself by continually calling out Rousey while refusing to cut to 135, that along with the PEDs thing made her an easy target. The PEDs thing I believe could have been forgiven, as it has been with some other fighters, but when she's constantly running her mouth about Rousey being scared of her when she can't make 135, she's asking to be ridiculed in a way. At least in my opinion.

Uhhh Ronda fought at 145 for her first few fights, she did run.. and the bigger weight champ doesnt need to cut to prove themselves, the lower guys move up to prove something.

She didn't run. If you're the Champion of a weight class and an opponent a weight class above you calls you out, the obvious response is "Make weight and we'll fight" If she weren't the champ it would have been a different story.

So what, Werdum was calling Jon Jones out, should he have cut to 205? Nate called out Conor should he have to cut to 145? No one wants any of Cyborg, period.

If Jon Jones started calling out Michael Bisping it wouldn't make sense. Bisping's the champ at 185 right now, sure he fought a few times at 205 early on, but would you honestly say that made sense? It may be reaching a bit, but I'm just trying to prove the point that regardless of what weight you may have previously fought at if you have the championship at another weight...it's not up to you to go back to fighting at a weight you're not the champion of. To me, the obvious solution is either make the champion's weight, or do a catch weight "super fight" type thing. Which if Rousey lost and Cyborg couldn't make 135 would diminish the value of Rousey and hurt the division due to the champion of the division getting KO'd by a chick at a different weight. It's similar to the Nate and Conor thing in a way as well. Just my opinion on it. I see your side as well though.

Cyborg is the 145lb champ, The Invicta belt is essentially the UFC FW belt and should be. I don't think we're gonna agree on much of this. However, If Cyborg actually did cut to 135, smashed Rousey to pieces like she obviously would have (though in a diminished state herself) then what? She's not gonna keep making that weight, she's a natural 145er and would vacate the belt, basically making it a worthless belt as well. It was a lose/lose for Ronda to fight the actual alpha female so I don't blame her but she could have fought Cyborg for the vacant 145 belt (or catchweight superfight) in the UFC and kept her 135lb belt

I can't believe this fight is a thing, but MMA is a cruel and unusual beast that noone can tame.
This also has the potential to be one of the biggest upsets in the history of the sport.
So that's fun.... I guess. :P

This fight just might be an attempt by Camp Justino to simply defend the title without too much of a challenge, padding the belt sort of speak.

I was playing around with the idea to shoot for the pick an uber-underdog award with this fight. Watched Lansberg's fights and thought to myself that of she's a stick-n-move type of gal with good footwork and solid lateral movement I'd pull the trigger. She's not.

I agree with @Yoss

Lansberg is more of a "plant and swing wildly and not very hard" kind of fighter.  Worst stylistic matchup for an undersized fighter trying to beat Cyborg.

This is as close to Punk v Gall is it gets between two real fighters.  +800 is way way too low.  Lansberg wins this 1% of the time, tops.
