Prediction: wrong Rivera wrong KO/TKO wrong Round 2

Hopefully Bisping eats a power punch in the first as Rivera is chasing him around the octagon with little respect for his power ala dan henderson, causing Bisping to cirlce the wrong way prompting a KO; this is a big if though.

I am picking Jorge in this fight only because i strongly dislike Bisping after the Matt Hamill fight, but i know the odds are strongly against me and i honestly believe Bisping is going to win this fight by UD.

Prediction: correct Bisping wrong Decision

Unfortunately, I predict Bisping picking up another decision here. Bisping is going to use his jab and score the occasional take-down. Hopefully, Rivera proves me wrong. ;)

You should all check out the blog tomorrow morning for an interview with Jorge Rivera. He had some pretty strong words for Bisping. Actually let me in on his specific strategy for the fight, but I have to leave that part out of the article.

I hope I'm wrong on this one, Rivera is an animal, but Bisping is great at running while landing jabs and impressing judges. Sadly, I don't think Jorge has much more than a punchers chance in this fight, but I really hope he lands a big right on Bisping's jaw.

Prediction: correct Bisping wrong Decision

Bisping unanimous decision. Inflicts more damage, receives less damage. Rivera will be aggressive & quick in rounds one and two. But will gas in rounds 2 & 3. He has not shown good Cardio. Rivera's very good against fighters who stand still & he can push to the cage & clinch. He will not find this with Bisping. Bisping has good footwork & will move in and out in angles. Bisping has great success against head hunters who move straight forward & back. Small chance Bisping gets KO'd in round 1 or 2 only if he over commits & charges (low likelihood) or if Rivera catches a high kick, takes him down and KO's him on the way up. Very likely both men will get rocked a few times. Bisping unanimous decision.

This is a tough fight for Bisping, I think Rivera definitely has the power to hurt and even stop Bisping. I wouldn't be surprised to see that, but Bisping is very good at staying light on his feet and moving to avoid shots (except for in the Henderson fight). He has very sound technique and I think he will dance his way to a Unanimous Decision. I am pulling for Rivera to knock him out though.

Really wanted to put some money down on Rivera, and still might. But I have to use my head and say Bisping will use his boxing to stay away from danger

I really don't see Rivera being in Bispings class as an overall MMA fighter, but I'm hoping that power shot lands and he goes to sleep...in reality I see a Bisping decision here with my head, but am going with the gut!

@soccerkick, i cant say it better. Bisping will dance and hold range pretty well and can take it but im hoping rivera catches him. Pretty much identical to my prediction for arlovski vs karitonov, except i do like arlovski :)
