I don't have much faith in Sage if he fights anyone decent.

Dana must really love licking whipped cream off Sage's che-er, I mean, he must really love Sage to give him a spot on the 200 card after he got tapped out from a half-guard arm triangle by a late notice journeyman. Who knows though. Sage is still extremely young and has time to improve. Spending more time training instead of fighting every month or two will also help.

Let's build him up so the casual fan will think he is championship material.

he can be champion one day but there is a long long way in front of him and he have to be smart if he want to accomplish that

Sage will never amount to anything unless he ditches his father as head coach.  He will sell tickets but gain no relevance in MMA with his dad as head coach.

anothe gimme fight for one of the UFC favorites. I ahve nothing against Sage but this is a ****** fight if they were going to add him on the UFC 200 card at least they could´ve put him in a fight that matters.

I like Sge and PVZ as fighters but I have to admit that sometimes is hard for me to get past the UFC favortitism around them

Sage just got tapped out with a half guard arm triangle by a late notice opponent. Doesn't really make sense to give him a step up after that performance. He's still super young and has a long way to go in getting experience and rounding out his game.

Im not saying they should throw him to the wolves but they are babying him the same way they are doing with PVZ and did with Conor. its nothing new that the UFC likes to match their favorite fighters with opponents that make them look good, of course  every now and then it backfires

In all fairness to Sage, Barbarena,turned out to be better than the UFC thought.

Not this **** again. First, yes they appear to be giving Sage a fight he's supposed to win but he was supposed to beat Barberena and, as mentioned, he is very young in age and MMA experience. 

For the record, Conor's list of opponents since joining the UFC en route to his title shot:
Marcus Brimage - poor bastard had to not only face Conor in his debut but Garbrandt in his debut as well followed by Jimmie Rivera in his debut. Quite possibly one of the strongest "strength of schedule" string of fights any UFC fighter has seen.
Max Holloway - only fighter to go the distance in the UFC with Conor and was outwrestled by him after holding his own vs. Bermudez and arguably winning that fight.
Diego Brandao - a replacement for Cole Miller
Poirier
and last before the title shot Siver, who admittedly was a step down from Poirier but all of the *****ing about him being babied was because he didn't fight either Edgar or Mendes, the consensus #2 & 3, first. Well guess what? Here's the list of fighters who fought either one of those 2 before getting a title shot: Conor.

Yep that's it. NO ONE EVER fought either guy and then received a title shot but wrestling fan boys thought Conor should and then, what do you know, HE DID. So then the "short-notice" excuses started flying.

Don't get me wrong, despite being a long-time Conor fan, I know he has holes in his game, I still anxiously await the inevitable Aldo rematch at some point because that fight didn't go long enough and I REALLY want to see how he would deal with Aldo's leg kicks, and would LOVE to actually know what he and his opponents at FW weigh when they step in the cage. BUT to say he was "gifted" or didn't earn his title shot is flat out ignoring the facts.
