Streetfight Grand Prix Opening Round- the 6 events to pick,sign ups etc.

The winner will be the inaugural Streetfight champ.Standard single elimination.After the GP every streetfight will have four players in a contender setup fight,two in the #1 contender fight and of course the two in the title fight.There will be players getting a bye this week but still should play in a non GP fight,and we can still do tag teams.The matchups will be finalized thursday,brackets created and posted at that time too.

There will be atleast 16 byes for the first round in order for everyone to play.I was kind of backwards,I haven't put together a tournament in a while lol.There will be no replacements in any round.If we don't get 48 players we'll have a few more than 16 byes.Seeding will be implemented,well by score anyway,the people who haven't played will get randomized at a time I say beforehand and then the list timestamped.Gotta talk to shot2thesac about seeding,got a few ideas.

If eliminated you can still compete in streetfights during the GP in non GP fights,which will help decide who will be in contender fights at the end of the GP.If it's not obvious,you pick the events selected for the weekend,if your score is higher than your opponents you win.Tag team is,you and your teammates score combined against the opposing team's total score.

KnockoutsRock21 we both have a bye so we can throw down if  you want?

I was thinking, you should just do the randomization of brackets with 43 + 5 placeholders.  If 5 more people sign up they get those 5 numbers in the order they sign up (they won't know your randomization results).  IF nobody signs up, you can just shift the matchups so the top 5 get byes (this way you can also let people sign up right up until the cutoff of the first fight.
