This will be a fun fight. Probably a good bounce back for Pettis.

I really wish this was the main event on a fight night card. This fight deserves 5 rounds.

I hope Eddie wins. Pettis will probably start his climb back to an ass whoopin' from dos Anjos tho.

Pettis wins. That is if he is humbled.

What is a humble Pettis as opposed to an arrogant one? He never really leaves his guard down, over looks his opponents or taunts/showboats. He seems very injury proned but his work ethic always seemed fantastic and he's technically efficient on a level most would only dream. Dos Anjos beat that ass but I fail to see why Pettis needs to be humbled, because he wears suits and is on cereal boxes?

I feel that he went into the RDA fight like it would be a walk in the park. Many of his fans acted the delivers way.

Both guys have the talent, but my question is can Alvarez counter the speed and power of Pettis and I really don't think so.

Like in almost all of Eddie's fights, he will get rocked, but he will not recover in this one...

Speed, power, size, age, length, athleticism, varierty, Pettis owns every single advantage in this fight except for maybe pure boxing. But this isn't a boxing match.

Eddie's resilient, but so is Pettis (you don't survive 5 rounds with final form RDA if you're not).

I don't see Eddie winning this.

Prediction: correct Alvarez   correct Decision

I think Alvarez has a better shot then people are suggesting. For one Pettis will not hold his normal speed advantage.  I think Alvarez can win by pressuring Pettis against the cage and going for take down, I think this can allow him to land in his range while letting him control the fight. Pettis should be the favored, but I think Avarez is a live dog.
