Soon every team will have played their 82 games. We will be left with 16 teams, 4 rounds and 1 Champion.

Anyone can join! All teams will be done their regular season and locked into their berth on April 12 - the same day picks can be made.

The leafs have made the playoffs once (in a shortened season) in the last ten years. They just fired their joke of a staff, and the joke of a team is next.

I actually had no idea, wow that's hilarious. I just assumed that the Bruins were in the playoffs because of Chara and Rask, and a team with two players of that caliber should never miss the playoffs.

But they did.

I turned 36 yesterday and I can honestly say I don't know what it's like for my team to miss the playoffs.

I didn't start following hockey until high school. And it's going to hurt to either beat the Captain, or be beaten by him.

I cling to this idea that Sergei Fedorov is the best two-way player in general, and that I've ever seen.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives to Fedorov for that title, just for the sake of comparison?

Boston is not in for several reason. A) Chara is a shell of his former self. B) That brutal Seguin trade C) Losing Johnny Boychuk D) Losing Iginla

@Brazilian Jitz Chiarelli isn't the only one on the chopping block for the Bruins. I can easily see the Bruins restructuring the team by firing both Chiarelli and Julien, as well as initiating plethora of trades to get rid of under performing players like Lucic, Paille, and Kelly.
