Press Conference Fights

With all the hype after Jones and Cormier got into that scrap do you see it happening more often? Granted they could add some sort of penalty for it happening to discourage it, but man... UFC is eating this thing up. They are using it every commercial to hype the fight and Dana White and Joe Rogan have both said that because of the fight that is the reason they are so excited for this fight. So with that in mind, do you see other fighters doing it to hype themselves up? The same way everyone started talking their way into title fights when Chael did it so successfully. Maybe even see something like this set up by the fighters or even the UFC itself to get attention?

Doubt it. Way too risky and not just from the UFC, they can also face sanctions from the SACs.

Fighters that are making enough, for sure. If they don't care to pay like a $10k fine. But they'll make way more off the publicity. For example, I can definitely see McGregor picking a fight at a media day. Probably not against someone like Siver, but maybe if he ever gets matched up with Mendes.
