Markos has some serious physicality.

I think Markos can sub her if she takes it to the ground. 

Though she has been working on her striking with Daron Cruickshank and his dad since TUF so it should be interesting to see if she uses her stand up more.  Wonder if she's learned any wicked kick techniques.

Prediction: wrong Markos   wrong Decision  

I'm surprised that Markos is still ranked #10, I feel that her nickname is very suiting. No one expected her (including myself) to make the impact that she did. At 115, I feel Markos will get this.

This will probably be a close one but I think Penne can get it done

Markos via size advantage. Markos is a big girl for 115. Bet the house on a decision either way.

Prediction: correct Penne   correct Decision  

The issue with Markos is her submission defense as Namajunas exposed. Markos could hope to grind out Penne but in the span of three rounds, Penne eventually capitalizes on a mistake to capture a submission win.

Namajunas is stronger than Penne though and seems to have a better bottom game. I don't think Penne would be able to sweep with a kimura like Rose did.

I think there is a good chance for this to go either way. I'm going with Markos because she is the more physical of the two.

Prediction: wrong Markos   wrong Decision  

I feel that Penne gets really uncomfortable when the fight doesn't go her way. During her fight with Carla I felt that she showed zero urgency in the second half of the fight; even though it was clear that she was being outstruck.

Markos on the other hand likes to push the pace of the fight. When Rose pulling some Muhammad Ali foot work with Markos, she never flinched and even pressed the fight further. Albeit, she did lose, but there is no argument that Rose is clearly a better fighter than Markos at the moment.
