If it goes past 1 round I favor Mein by decision. Alves.... inconsistent and inactive makes me worried.

I don't see either of them getting a finish. It will probably be a technical stand-up fight, bordering on a point fight. Alves had no problem dealing with someone much larger than Mein in Baczynski.

Alves looks to be in great shape, I think with his stand up skills he should be able to win the rounds 1 and 2 if he stops the TD and try to not get stopped in the 3rd. Im going Alves

While I'm a big fan of both of these guys, I hope Alves can get it done.  I've been a fan of his for a long time.  It would be great if he could stay healthy long enough to go on another run.  

Mein is young and skilled though, and he's had six fights in the time Alves has had one.  I think Alves will be a step behind the whole way to losing a decision.
