This will be the draft thread.
12 hours limit on picks - if you con't pick within the 12 hour limit you miss your go to the next guy and get placed after him for that (round only - next round continues in the original order).

Captains are spoiled for choice this season methinks, Cthulhu. I suppose it's evidence of how many solid reliable pickers Tapology has.
I think I finished top 10 (7th maybe) in last years individual standings, was joint top for solo wins in the BLC and part of the winning team (*********S, YEAH!!).
My pick % is ok for over 25k picks at 62.1% and I'm in the top 3 for all time event wins.
But like you I'm sitting on the sidelines waiting for a pick, like the guy who forgot his gym stuff and has to choose something out of the lost property to wear.
It's character building :P

I've been looking forward to joining the BLC league for some time and can't wait to compete against a collection of the best pickers tapology has to offer. The competitive banter back and forth is the number 1 reason why i want to join in the fun, it makes it all worth while. Being a member of the league championship team and finishing in the top 20 overall comes a close 2nd. ;)
21 picks in, halfway through rd 4 and 33 picks to go. There are many great pickers still available and still 28 left that wanted to participate and have not been picked. It will be close, but there may be a scenario where increasing the size of the teams might be considered. I guess time will tell.

It's definitely something to look into as Tap gets bigger and we're getting such quality on the site. Though I have a feeling most of the good pickers will get in (including yourself - I'm pretty sure you're on a few radars).

If there are more members that want to participate in the BLC league, then the current league format allows (60), you increase the size of the teams to accommodate the extra interest. If not, then those who wanted to participate and didn't get picked will just have to proof themselves a bit more...pick the league events anyway and show the folks who keep track of the points during the season, that they missed out. I know for some it might be a bit of a blow to their ego, but it is what it is.
There is always trades that occur during the season. If you got picked during the initial draft and don't perform well, you get dropped. It's as simple as that. The captains scope out free agents regularly. If they see you are near the top of the points leader board, you will most likely be brought in as a replacement pretty quickly.
