Prediction: wrong Lauzon   wrong Decision

BigJ nailed it. I chalked up Lauzon's gas tank having more to do with his long layoff from knee surgery against Sam Stout. But it seems like it's more than that and he needs to work on pacing himself.  Lauzon looked like he really had the tools to frustrate George, but he looked completely drained in round 2.

I think it's a wise move for the UFC to schedule George against Dennis Siver next.  Sotiropoulos is on a nice win streak but he's got some holes in his game.

Prediction: correct Sotiropoulos   correct Submission   wrong Round 3

They have the LW title situation in hand for a very long time. They want G-Sot on the Australian card against an opponent he has a clear advantage over on the ground. Siver has looked a lot better lately than he did when he first entered the UFC. He has won 5 of his last 6 in the UFC, of course George won 7 of 7 so far. With the Merger it gives them a lot of time to build a contender. They probably won't need another Title contender until Nov or Dec of 2011

Prediction: correct Sotiropoulos   correct Submission   wrong Round 1

Got worried in round 1 but then Lauzon got so tired.  Sots won't be able to win the title against Maynard or Edgar or those guys.
