Why would they pick him up again if they are going to give him a fight like this? I mean there are no easy fights in the UFC but Curran's probably going to be one and done after getting brutally ko'd by Jorgensen.

I don't know if he'll get KO'd, he's a tough mofo to finish. But I could definitely see Scotty winning this pretty lopsidedly.

Yeah, you're right, he's only been ko'd once or twice in almost 50 fights. He has been fighting for like 11 years though, which is eventually going to take a toll on your chin, and if any BW can knock you out, it's Jorgensen.

Odd signing for the ufc considering theres many guys out there with a lot more potential then curran has.

Seems like there's a lot of disdain for Jeff Curran around here. I like him. Granted, I think his better days are behind him now, I still think he's a well-rounded athlete. His grappling is pretty damn sharp. I agree that there's probably more worthy contestants out there, but I think the UFC can afford to keep Curran around for a few more fights. Jorgensen is definitely a hard fight for him to take on though. Seems like the UFC is just trying to set Jorgensen up with a good show to introduce him to some of the casual fans and make him a more household name.

It doesn't sound like disdain to me. Sounds like people just realistically wondering what this signing is all about. Curran has had a nice career but he left the WEC after losing 4 straight, and has been on and off since then. It's not a normal UFC signing.
Yves Edwards signing comes to mind as being kind of similar... and he's had some good fights aside from the brutal KTFO from Sam Stout. Perhaps Curran will surprise us all.

the fight is set for ufc 137. 11 incredible fights so far. one more to go. i think we will get one more barnburner for the best card this year.

If there trying to bring him back putting him against Jorgensen is just mean... I think I will take decision though since Curran is tough?
