would you be interested in something like this?

I don't think we'll ever see the same fighter fight multiple fights in one day ever again in MMA. At least in the major promotions. These fighters cut extreme amounts of weight and it's not good for the body. The second round will be dog**** because everyone will be exhausted. And the first round will be chock full of LnP decisions as fighters will want to save their strength for the next round.

The day long tournament is a thing of the past.

To be fair Cage Warriors did two same night tournaments last year; admittedly only the semi final and final were on the same night but I don't think it's fair to rule it out.

could be a good route for Bellator but their problem at the minute is that their belts and tournaments have been incredibly devalued due to contract clauses. difficult to promote anything when fighters don't want to be champions

I forget the org but they have a 1 night Grand Prix coming up with guys like McKenzie, Hallman, Fioravanti, and Honeycutt, it's in the US too so it's not dead but I doubt we ever see one from WSOF, UFC, or Bellator

There are one-night ammy grand prixs in Minnesota all the time.  

I'm not saying they're completely dead in MMA. Just in the major promotions. Good luck getting Jose Aldo or Johny Hendricks to make weight twice in the same day.

why would they have to make weight 2 times? weigh ins are still the day before

I am so watching the one with McKenzie if it is available. 

I actually thought they were ilegal.

I like this idea, the main problem is that neither of the fighters in these tournaments is a draw and the PPV buys this would get is based on the idea of it being a 1 night tournament alone which I don't would he that much of an interest to non casual fans.
