Don't forget that Guida has a win over Anthony Pettis... so anything can happen.

Guida is the type of fighter who can make the most exciting of fighters look boring. He's the GSP of the FW division. Lol. Hopefully Kawajiri doesn't get dry humped for 3 rounds and can light Clay up like Mendes did.

Down the road I think we're gonna look at Pettis' loss to Guida like we do at Silva's loss to Chonan

Pettis is an amazing athlete and fighter, but I think Melendez beats him. Having said that I agree with you, losing to Clay Guida of all the guys he's fought is pretty baffling. Guida is tough as hell when he actually decides to fight and not just bounce around like he's on meth. I think he beats Kawajiri and I like Crusher and have become annoyed with Guida's approach to his fights lately. It should be a fun fight regardless IF Guida decides to fight like the old Guida.

I think Pettis' loss to Guida can be attributed more to him trying to make a spectacular debut and subsequently more open to the takedown than an actual gauge of his grappling skills. He's had two fights with Bendo, a much better grappler than Guida, to show that the Guida fight was the exception to the rule. I strongly believe that the only thing in the way of future greatness for Pettis is that he gets injured a LOT.

If he manages to stay healthy I don't see a 155er who can beat him.

I.thought Guida lost to Pettis and Hioki, the guy is only exciting when he's getting his ass beat ( shout out to KenFlo ). I'm not sure where he gets his fanbase from, this fight will be interesting but.Guida.may bounce around and land single shots like he did to Gomi I fear, but I'd be happy if Crusher crushed.

Unless he does his patented, bouncy spaz attack.

The more confident mikelovestacos is in a certain fight, the more likely it's going to go the complete opposite. It's a foolproof gambling system.
