Looks like I forgot to set this thread up a few weeks ago!  But as you probably all know, the Winter Contest is alive and kicking.

The UFC seasonal contests are perhaps the most difficult to win. Information is abundant on almost every fight: betting odds, fight video and more will level the playing field. The winners will need to out-wit and out-analyze the rest of the website.

While few members are criminally insane enough to pick hundreds of regional fights in a single weekend, there are vast numbers willing to come on and throw down on some UFC picks.

Will it be a coral belt to bring home the big prize, or an unknown orange belt who knows how to crush it on Zuffa cards? Only time will tell.

Reigning UFC competition champions:
- Spring 2012: tarzan
- Summer 2012: Kalibo
- Autumn 2012: chadderall
- Winter 2013: michaelsilva
- Spring 2013: Rahito
- Summer 2013: stange
- Autumn 2013: IronHorse

In addition to the Tapology points there is $500 of cold, hard cash given to the competition winner.

Pick well and good luck.

Picking Mousasi on the last card was the difference between 2nd and 13th place.

I was still 1st going into the last fight but I picked Mousasi and ended up in 3rd. Let's see what happens with UFC 170.

I am making a late push for the crown, but it will be too little too late for me this time again!!!!

Since I have no chance at all of winning, I'd like to improve just one place.

Well done dugen. I came 27th in the end lol, but I've been winning cash consistently over the last few events. I made another 1000 on fight night 37. My overall picks are imperfect but my bets are good. Again well done dugen and all the top 10

Competition is final, points have been distributed!

Congrats to @dugen, winner of the UFC Winter 2014 contest!

Once we verify your age eligibility (18+) you'll be the winner of the $500 prize.  In the end it was a perfect R2 TKO pick for Gustaffson that sealed the deal on the final fight, giving dugen a 95 point margin of victory.

Well done to the many Tapology regulars who made showings in the top 25 of the leaderboard.  It's not easy!  I'll have to settle for a disappointing 236th place.

Next UFC contest starts NOW!
