Ladies and Gentleman, I must take a brief hiatus

A small handful of you may have noticed that I have been relatively inactive on the site recently (at least as far as my activity goes).  I apologize for this as things have been very hectic.  I have made the decision to join the United States Army.  This all had to happen very quickly, as I am not as young as I once was.  In fact, I have to be in basic training before my birthday, which happens to fall on the 20th of July.  I will get to basic on the 18th.  I realize that this is typically a young man's game, but I feel that I have something to offer.  I also could not continue for the next six years at the pace I was going.  I was working full time in a factory, going to school full time with a triple major in biology, government, and religion, and raising a family.  In my spare time I was trying to play outside, train mma, and keep my body in shape.  The path I have chosen will allow me to do all these things and also give something to this country.  I will be back from basic and AIT in mid-November.  I don't have a clue as to where they will station me, but I look forward to the challenge.  I hope to speak with you all again soon.  Take care and Godspeed.  Jeremy
