My Thoughts:
- Here to open the show we have the battle of guys who lost to OSP in their last outing! Donovan only lasted a round with OSP before getting KO'd, but that was to snap a four fight win streak. Villante snapped a three fight win streak with his majority decision loss to OSP, but only managed 28 total strikes in the bout. I know that Villante has a questionable chin, but sticking with the OSP fight as a benchmark, that might not hold much water to me. While Villante is larger in size, and has the striking to test Donovan’s chin, I think that the reduced travel, higher caliber of opponents, and FightMetric stats make me feel like this is worth a pick on Donovan, still thinking about this one. I predict the opening line to be Villante -155 to -175.
