Melvin by KO. Didn't he just beat a better version of Lauzon in Dunham?

Bit of a step back for Guillard in my opinion. But I guess the lightweight title picture is jammed at the moment and Gulliard did ask for the fight so lets get it on!

Guillard's recent form leads me to beleive a) he will win and b) it will not go to the judges.

This fight has potential to be sick, If it were a year ago I wouldn't doubt a quick submission by Lauzon but Guillard has been on a roll and this is a tough fight to pick. I think Guillard will TKO him.

I think Jackson clearly behind Melvin calling out Lauzon. Because stylistically this is a great match up for Melvin.  Lauzon is extremely small light weight, well Melvin one of if not the largest LW.  Then the fact that Lauzon is not the greatest wrestler, not does he have great stand up techique, makes for a great match up for Melvin. However Lauzon has the X factor of just his overwhealming first round attacks. I think he shocks the world with finish Melvin in the first (it most likely wishful thinking, but I do love me Lauzon)

I think this is a good fight for Melvin, I definatly think he will get the win and a step up in competition if he does

if lauzon fights melvin melvin shuld walk away with an easy first round tko

if lauzon fights oliveira then oliveira shuld pull of a 2nd or 3rd round submission

and no it is not a setback for guillard

he hasnt fought top competition yet becuz there all booked so hes just gunna keep fighting and winning and finishing wich is smart because the bigger win streak and the more finishes than the less top guys he will need to beat before he gets his shot at the champ

i don't really understand melvins attitude towards not asking for a title shot, he clearly deserves a shot but he keeps sayin he doesn't care about when he gets it...he should be the favorite against lauzon, but lauzon presents a decent challenge for him. i don't think its an easy fight, but melvin should win

hes being humble and not worrying about a title shot because he wuld rather keep fighting because he knows edgar vs maynard is still dragging on and he sits behind guida and milller if he best henderson (he should) so hes gunna keep fighting and finishing

i would like to see him fight another striker in edson barboza or even takanori gomi

**** man I'm a J-Lau fan, but i think that Guillard might KO him because he'll try to stand with Melvin at first. Maybe he can get him on the ground and catch him with something...hopefully.
