some of my all time favorites would probably seinfeld , the Simpsons king of the hill , South park and workaholics . don't matter how many times ive seen them when it's on i always watch them again .

Cliffhangers are good when done correctly. The "Who Shot JR" type off cliffhanger went out with the eighties. Having a show rap up their story lines for the season, then suddenly "open a new door" and everyone looks into the door and cut to black is the correct way to end with a cliffhanger. It's makes the audience wonder, "what's through that door," and makes them want to tune into next season.
