There's alot of reasons why people like/dislike certain fighters, and I don't like Rory because he's a ******...his clothes are only part of it. How you talk/act/dress/personality are all different traits that you represent yourself as...and Rory wants to be a smug ****** hipster. And he's a poser, his first few fights he was trying to be like a hip-hop, adidas, like urban kid and it didn't work...so now he's trying the little superior dressed, quiet and mysterious trenchcoat suit guy with slicked hair, it's just annoying...he's trying too hard.
...and he's Canadian.

Swick, do you think the urban 'style' and 'vernacular' is 'cooler' than what you perceive as being a hipster?
I just want an honest explanation. Don't see how you can not like someone because of fashionability.

A smug ****** hipster, and a poser? That's pretty ahrsh for basing everything off the way he dresses. He chanegd style at a young age? Hasn't everybody gone through phases? I know I have, and I know jmcdowell used to be a sufer dude who wore seashell necklaces, and now he is older and doesnt dress like that - its kind of human nature. How is he trying to hard? By wearing nice clothes? I just dont get it dude. But please, I would liek to hear your viewpoint on this, because I am of the thought that the way we dress has no bearing on who we are, and its extremely judgemental to think one thing is better than the other.

Anyway, I'll just shorten what could be another long thing where we go back and forth, and you say I'm a pothead and I call you a *********.
That's just my opinion on Rory, P4P asked the question of why people bring up his clothes...and i gave my reason for it. That's it.

If you don't wear a Tapout shirt 2 sizes too small and some windbreaker pants and you prefer to dress in nicer clothes then you're a "****** hipster" right? Honestly it would not matter what he wears people will hate on Rory because he's so young and already successful. That's just society.
Just a side note doesn't Anderson Silva wear hipster glasses? And he's 38 years old. Nobody says ****. The fighters I don't like it has nothing to do with what style of clothes they wear. Pretty dumb reason to dislike someone imo.

I was JW. But unlike a lot of mma fans, I do dress on the hippier/classier side, so I'm interested as to the insecurities with fighters or fans who dress differently.
