Both guys have a punchers chance, but Hendo's wrestling will make the difference, but Fedor's extra weight might make the difference. Why wouldn't the guy cut down? I don't understand that.

Hendo at 6'1? Is that in his cuban heels.

Fedor is gonna take this, it'll be a war. But his size advantage and very strong Sambo background will nullify anything Hendo can do on the ground.

What's recently? The Werdum fight? He got tricked, he'd beat Werdum 7/10 times...

And Bigfoot smothered him on the ground, he probably had a 50-60 pound weight advantage. Hendo doesn't have that.

As much as i dislike Fedors management, i think he wins (i do like Fedor the fighter). For the first time in 3 years Fedor will have a slight size advantage. Henderson couldn't do much to Anderson Silva on the ground and "IF" he gets Fedor there he won't do anythign but smoother him until he gets submitted. I think Fedor is the faster striker as well. The only way Hendo wins is by some boring GnP or a huge KO punch. I'm thinking i'm going to change my pick to Fedor....

Fedor is a ridiculously tough fight for anyone.  Fedor is one of the, if not the, greatest mma fight we have yet experienced. Fedor has also struggled with people fast than him and people smaller than him.  Even lindland who is nowhere near the mma fight hendo is gave fedor a good fight till fedor won. No hendo is arguable faster than him, arguably more durable and possesses a fantastic equalizer of a right hand.  This fight easily could go either way so im picking hendo because hendo is on a hot streak and fedor isnt.  That is all.

@bk nice breakdown. While i disagree its well thought out and all the points are valid.  I dont think fedor is faster than hendo (maybe reaction time which can be a lot).  Hendo was doing a fair amount to anderson on the ground towards a gameplan that looked like it was to slow anderson down.  Hendo is a solid and powerful grappler with often underrated strength and he hits harder and faster than fujita, who almost kod fedor.

If this fight was at light heavyweight Hendo wins this 9/10 times. At heavyweight Fedor will win it.

@hush this fight is at heavyweight but fedor will come in 225-230 and hendo will come in about 215 is my guess.  This fight may as well be at lhw because even if they weighed in the day before thats likely the weights theyd come to the ring at.

I simply like Fedor at a bigger weight. Hendo is not a very large LHW to begin with, and Fedor is actually a pretty big guy despite looking small against massive heavyweights.

I simply think Fedor will be comfortable not having to make any sort of weight cut and will come into this fight desperate for a win.

@hush thats totally fair.  I dont see fedor being desperate for a win tho. He seems too much into "god makes the choice for me" to actually be desperate.  Plus hes talked about retiring a lot more than hendo has.

I expect a lot of clinch in that one. I say Fedor by a big overhand right follow by some ground and pound.
