Pickett is a solid fighter, but I just think McDonald is going to be too much for him in this one.

This fight is just ridiculous. It's what I was hoping for, but I didn't think they'd actually make it happen. Wow. McDonald is easy top 3-4 best in the BW division. This should be a good fight, but in the end McDonald will have been too much for Pickett. MayDay is one of my favorites, hope he gets another title shot soon enough.

Damn, very good matchup there! Pickett could definitely win this one, but McDonald has a very bright future ahead of him.

If Aldo beats Pettis, he'll move up to Lightweight, which many of us known. What isn't as well known is that Barao has said that he'd move up to Featherweight if Aldo moves up. If that happens, MayDay will get a title shot sooner than you think!

Awesome match can't wait to watch it, but if Pickett looks like he did against Wineland than he has the very real threat of getting knocked out. This fight is going to be FOTN with Macdonald scoring a late round stoppage or a well-deserved decision, This all depends on if which Pickett shows up, would be somewhat surprised but not shocked if he wins a split decision.

McDonald's one of those guys that has all the potential in the world, plus at just 22, he's already had a title fight to learn from. Pickett's a really tough test though, (and should he win, would be McDonald's best win yet) so I'm guessing a decision could be in the works here.

Pickett is a live dog here and probably has the better ground game of the two. He even was able to get Easton down who has some serious TDD. If he times McDonald coming in he should be able to get some TD's and might win a close decision that way.

Might switch my pick here **** not the only fight I'm feeling that way...

Pickett has the experience and much higher competition/better wins...but Mayday has the explosiveness and it factor. VERY tough fight to call...I'm a bigger fan of Pickett so I lean to him.

I'm rewatching this as I burn it to dvd and I think Kevin McDonald displayed some of the best reffing I've seen during McDonald's opening flurry on Pickett. He was within a couple feet and just staring into Pickett's eyes, making sure he was still there. We need to see more of him in big fights.
