Who do you think is going to win this fight and how?
i cant decide who i want to win this fight, i want to see both of these fighters against velasquez

Dos santos would provide a better standup war i beleive, while carwin would have better takedown defense,

the only thing edging me is that carwin is 36yo and dos santos is still in his 20s.

that being said... i pick dos santos by 3rd round TKO via GNP

JDS is one of my favorite fighters, so I'll be rooting for and picking him. However, I could easily see Carwin get some takedowns and when a decision with ground and pound, we'll see I guess.

I think JDS is the future champion. He is more dynamic and diverse. Has impressed me more than Carwin in the stand-up. Carwin hits hard but as we saw in his last fight it takes more than being able to hit hard to win a fight. We never really see him going for takedowns all that often. He utilized the clinch against the cage against Mir, which I think he will try against JDS. He will be expecting his takedown so he may be a little cautious in the standup, but hopefully that doesn't prevent him from opening up, I think he needs to put the pressure on Carwin in the stand up and wear him out. Eventually JDS will get the TKO. I think it will be a short fight though, but wouldn't be surprised if both fight smart without taking chances and it goes to the 2nd round.

Because of the fact Carwin is 36 is the reason I'm pulling for him well and I pretty much always pull for the Colorado guys! I want Shane to hold the UFC HW title once before he calls it a career
