if there's someone in this division that Garcia could decisively beat it's McKenzie... it's a no-brainer, actually, haymaker KO, FTW.

but Garcia should have been cut soooo long ago that it's not even funny. and this win may grant him another 2 or 3 fights. damn you, Joe Silva!

Why is it unlikely? Garcia's never been the brightest of fighters (to say the least) and McKenzie goes for the Guillotine relentlessly until it sinks. You need a minimum level fight IQ to keep clear of it.

The only chance I see for Garcia to stay away from the Guillotine for 3 rounds is that he has Greg Jackson in his corner to remind him of it every 10 seconds.

Garcia has only been subbed twice in his career and it was against better grapplers than McKenzie. Also Garcia isnt nearly as bad as people make him out to be

I don't think he's that bad, I just said it's not that unlikely for him to get McKenzitined.

I don't even think that McKenzie is all that good, just saying that most people that fight Garcia get into striking wars with him, McKenzie will be looking for the Guillotine so many times that only someone who's really aware of it can stay away from it. Garcia has been known to lose awareness and swing away.

I won't be surprised at all if he doesn't get subbed and wins either.

This one could go either way.

How will McKenzie get a guillotine on a standing guy? Plus Mendes crumpled him pretty easily with a body shot and Garcia is fairly good at those too.

McKenzie doesn't hesitate to go for the guillotines standing up and Garcia isn't Mendes.

And again, not saying it's going to happen, just that it's not that unlikely given his opponent's concentration level.

Oh, and I agree with you on the body shots, Nam Phan got him with one on TUF too, but Garcia isn't Nam Phan either. especially when it comes to body shots.

This is most likely a loser leaves town type of fight (regardless of the bad call in Garcias last fight). And let's be honest, we would all rather have Garcia around than McKenzie. If Cody catches him in that guillotine then he deserves the credit, but I think Garcia is gonna give him absolute hell.
