This being a 5 round fight is awesome. I think Gus will finish him late. 3rd or 4th.

I just think Gustafsson is the much better fighter.

Might switch this. Definitely don't see Gus getting a finish on Gegard, but that's just me. Gegard definitely can win this.

I think Gus will use his reach and kicks to neutralize Gegard's striking I see him wining by TKO around the 3rd

I think it will be the other way around but still a hype training being derailed.

Mousasi has hype?  I see him as pretty much ignored and overlooked.

I disagree I think he hyped. I think lot of people think he better then he is. He was deff real hyped about year or two ago when first rumors of him coming over started.

Mousasi was highly hyped until the Jardine fight, I agree with Ben that now he is overlooked

People also forget Mousasi was deducted a point in the Jardine fight.  He was winning that fight handily until the upkick he threw.  That really is a bad gauge for how good he is.

Point deduction or not

Prediction: Gustafsson  |  Decision

The fact that he couldn't even finish Jardine is what is disappointing. Throw in the fact that Keith took the fight on 2 weeks' notice also, so he couldn't even finish an out-of-shape Keith Jardine! I think Gus takes this handily, but I'm not sure about a finish.

Keith Jardine's got the heart of a warrior, you shouldn't fault Gegard for not finishing. Gegard Mousasi easily gave Jardine the biggest beatdown of his career that lasted 15 minutes and the fact that the fight was called a draw made me question watching this sport ever again.

You know what, I'm gonna go ahead and say it; I think Gegard Mousasi vs Keith Jardine is the GREATEST judging robbery in MMA history...ok the SECOND greatest judging robbery in MMA histor-wait no...the THIRD GREATEST JUDGING ROBBERY IN MMA HISTORY.

Believe it.

Martin Kampmann is on the wrong end of a few of those terrible robberies. I feel for that dude, he should have been #1 contender a few times by now.

Leonard Garcia is the total opposite of Martin Kampmann when it comes to bad decisions.

Diego Sanchez is close to being tied up there with Leonard for the same thing.

Also people thinking Gus' striking is better than Mousasi seem to forget that Mousasi's striking is very good and that he KO'd Musashi in a kickboxing fight and he beat Kyotaro too in a kickboxing fight.

Gus despite probably having a longer reach, hasn't shown he has great striking skills or anything. He has shown decent striking skills at best.

Gus' best chance in this fight is clinching Gegard against the cage and taking him down and holding Gegard down and pounding him to a decision win.

Prediction: Mousasi  |  Decision

Actually, the only two fights I have ahead of Gegard Mousasi vs Keith Jardine in terms of total robbery is Matt Hamill vs Michael Bisping and Shogun Rua vs Lyoto Machida I.

Martin Kampmann was robbed for the Sanchez fight but the Shields fight was very close and it really depends on the person and what they prioritize in MMA. I have Shields winning that fight 29-28.

Leonard Garcia has been gifted some decisions but his fights were much closer than the Mousasi/Jardine, Hamill/Bisping and Rua/Machida I fights.

People talk about the first fight against Korean Zombie and while the first round was easily Korean Zombie's but the significant striking differential in the second and third rounds were by 2 and 5 strikes. I actually have Garcia winning that fight against Korean Zombie, his strikes were much more effective in the 2nd round and he actually rocked Zombie.

People talk about the Nam Phan fight, Garcia and Phan had one round apiece and in the third Phan outstruck him by like 10 more punches or something. It should've been Phan's fight but it wasn't as crazy as the three fights I mentioned.

Hamill outstruck Bisping and took him down more than once EVERY ROUND and the decision was given to Bisping. Rua outstruck Machida by DOUBLE the strikes and the judges gave the fight to Machida. Gegard Mousasi outstruck Jardine by wait for it...QUADRUPLE the strikes and the judges managed to scavenge a round to give to Jardine for a draw. Absurd.

Hammil/Bisping might be #1 all time.  Mighty Mouse/Torres was pretty damn bad, and Marshall/Aliev was a bad one recently.

I would pick Mousasi if he didnt have some lackluster performances in his resume. The draw with Jardine gives me doubts...
