Manley is much stronger and is a better wrestler. Plus, he looked very impressive in all of his fights on the show before running into Colton who won the whole thing. I expect Manley to take a wrestle heavy decision.

Prediction: correct Magny   correct Decision

Jon Manley (7-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) Vs. Neil Magny (7-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC):

- Magny is 1 year younger, and has a 2” inch height advantage.

- Both fighters were contestants on the Nelson Vs. Carwin season of TuF. Manley was selected 10th overall, and Magny was selected 7th.

- On the show, Manley eventually lost to Colton Smith in the semifinals. Magny was also eliminated in the semifinals in his fight with Mike Ricci. These were the one and two guys on the show, however Ricci did appear to be outclassed (er, lets be honest; wrestle******) by Smith in the finals.

- Manley won a $25,000 “Submission of the Season” bonus.

-Magny has a freakish 80” inch reach.

- Magny is said to have good cadio.

- Manley has won NAGA grappling tournaments.

- Manley is a brown belt in BJJ

- Manley has three submission wins.

- Magny trains with Miguel Torres. He has a purple belt in BJJ under him.

- Magny was an All Army Combatives Champion and the All Guard Combatives Champion.

- Magny has two wins by knockout, and two by submission.

- This fight is more or less a shot in the dark for me. With no known opponents on ether fighters Wikipedia page, zero fightmetric stats, and zero desire to watch TuF, I’m at a loss! Manley appears to have a significant advantage in wrestling, but with Magny’s 80” inch reach he might have a hard time getting close enough to execute a takedown.

Magny over Manley. Decision. Confidence: 1

Manly should have the wrestling advantage in this bout. From the limited tape we have on those fighters, Magny has shown decent TDD and a limited BJJ game. I strongly believe Magny will want to keep this bout standing and look for the knockout. So essentially this come down to me as a striker vs. grappler match up. In these cases, I automatically lean towards the grappler when the odds are so close. Manly by decision
