I cant believe Randy and Brillz got KOed like that also I cant believe Aldos fight went the distance, I still went 7 for 12 but I didnt think some of the fights were gonna go down like they did

There wasn't a 50-43, it was a mistake I think it was supposed to be 48-45

@live2wrestle why not anytime soon? I think hominick wins one good one and if schedules line up it should happen.  I know mendes and now florian should get their shots but If timing lines up i dont see why not.

@ jeremy. ben henderson impressed me too. i wonder who hurts more today, bocek or hominick? probably hominick cause he went five rounds but henderson was landing see brutal knees and facial strikes. great fight. 11 of the 12 fights were great. the main event, not so. dana white has too see what a huge event it would be with nick diaz fighting gsp. diaz would make it an entertaining bout imho. plus i'm sure diaz saw the fight and i think he knows he can beat him. gsp feared shields bjj even when shiles was hurt but i don't think diaz fears anything in the octagon.

@Dan, I think maybe in 3 fights but there are other people that could justify a title shot and the weight class is only getting deeper with more contenders

@jaffacakehero the 50-43 was a misread the actual score for that card was 49-46 which was the right call the way I saw the fight.
The scored were: Crosby 48-45, D'Amato 49-46, Hamilton 48-46.

It was Crosby that they mis-calculated.  The actual score was the 48-45 card.  They gave Aldo then 10-8 in the 5th instead of Mark on accident is what I read.

@wolf i bet bocek feels the most beat to hell of anybody. he and nate.  bocek took some real abuse inside.

you can definitely feel it in the talk today that last night upped the interest in gsp-diaz and lowered the enthusiasm for gsp-silva.

@Jeremy Big time.. it's like a deflated balloon.. the hype has left almost completely.  There really isn't anyone left at 170 but Diaz at the moment.

I think ellenberger is going to come up fairly quickly for a title shot.

Hominick will probably work his way back, but putting up a competitive fight against the champ doesn't get you an immediate rematch these days unless 1) There was some controversy involved in the fight (there wasn't). or 2) There is a dearth of contenders in the division (Mendes and Florian are ready and able).

No worries Bigj!  How about Hominick vs. Erik Koch?!  Lets give the young fighter a stiff test.  You Poirer.. you got Grispi.  Now you got Florian, Griffen and Joe Daddy.  The FW division will be very interesting this year.
