This guy has a solid record but it seems no promotion ever held onto him. It seems he loses to tough competition. Also, he fought Akira Corassani. Must have been some open weight type ****. It is also lulz that he lost a fight against a guy named "Can."

I'm surprised Cormier is not fighting Keith Jardine.

They all come off as pricks, or they are Fitch, who's only good fight was against Hendricks. As schools go, I much prefer Jackson's.

Well, you neglected to mention Fitch's fight against Silva, so your opinion is invalid.

Lol. Fitch is kind of hit or miss if you really look at his fights. Silva, Penn, Alves, Carneiro and the GSP fights were all pretty good (off the top of my head), but he does have a tendency to dominate in a non-aesthetically pleasing manner when he outmatches his opponent. People just tend to not give Fitch a chance and deem all of his fights boring without really looking at them.

Also never really thought Velasquez, Swick, Tyson Griffin, Evangelista, Kingsbu, or Cormier are really too arrogant. Cormier and Koscheck (formerly of AKA) are the only 2 that kind of irk me. Can't really explain why I get that vibe from Cormier though.

I really wish they tried to bring Arlovski in for this fight.
While he's not the greatest HW he has a big name and he has looked good recently, I don't understand them bringing in some no name guy to fight someone that is supposed to be a top ten HW.

^^^^There really isn't anyone outside the UFC that is signed to Strikeforce that they can give Cormier. You have Arlovski which the UFC won't sign as he is under contract with WSOF and too risky of a fight, Sylvia who Zuffa hates so much they signed Mir to fight Cormier instead, Mir who is hurt, and there are no up and coming HW. The HW is just too slim currently.

The UFC is trying to maximize profit with Cormier and Cormier is going to probably be a co-main in his first fight in the UFC, unless he loses. Zuffa doesn't want to lose a HW to a random KO so they give Cormier someone to demolish.

It's the same exact situation with Melendez. Do people really think Healy deserves to fight Melendez after being arguably beat by Hirota? Other than MW the pickings are just too slim in Strikeforce. I mean Marquardt really only has Saffiedine and Santiago to chose from for a WW title shot. I wish Misaki would come back though. Misaki was UFC material, but he decided to announce his retirement a few weeks ago.

I was being facetious about Fitch, stating that his only good fighht was one where he got KO'd quickly...BECAUSE I don't like him. If I understand the language correctly, opinions CAN'T be invalid, only disagreed with. The fact that you claim an opinion is invalid for not being yours is the very height of arrogance and idiocy, you're as much of a prick as Fitch is boring.

AKA is full of pricks? The only prick I can think of from AKA isnt even with them anymore. And they got called more boring than Jackson's? Both having exciting fighters but I would say Jackson's camp has far more boring fights

I love that you compare Condit to Guida even though what they did was completely different. Condit landed more and Clay didnt also at points Gray had to full on sprint to catch up to Guida. Good try Anik.
