I'm going out with a bunch of friends Saturday night to watch UFC 129 at a crowded sports bar. I have no doubt it's going to be fun, but I always prefer to watch the fights at home or at a friend's house with a small group of people so I can better focus on the action, don't have to worry about not getting a seat/table, and can avoid Tapout ******s...
what say you?

"Tapout ******s" are primarily the reason why I dont wear my tapout shirts in public often.

For sports, I enjoy being around a large group of people. It is difficult to find the right place to watch fights, but once found I generally prefer the experience. My wife and I go to Fox & Hound early enough to get a booth and spend the whole evening watching the fights and eating and usually get out of there for less than the price of buying the PPV. Before we moved here, we had a group that got together at the bar and we would do $1 bets for each fight which made things really fun.

around here, here being ****** central aka san antonio, i like to watch at home with friends and fam....but, at $45, and since buffalo wild wings shows the fights with NO COVER and NO REQUIREMENT TO BUY ANYTHING, thats a more economic decision...so it really comes down to ******s or pay $45 to watch at home...so i STILL pay $45..lol

It depends on the fight card for me. I'll pay to watch really good cards at home where I can concentrate on the fights. If it's a so-so card I will head to Buffalo Wild Wings and watch it with the Tapout and Affliction crowd.

My friends and I take turns watching in our homes. We tried watching the last UFN in a bar and it was a flop.
I know it sounds intolerant, but casual fans irritate the piss out of me and I can't stand having them around when I'm watching a fight.

@acfmma, why bootleg it? You can buy it online thru the ufc webpage and watch a nice clear stream. I know it doesnt seem like much but we gotta support the sport we love if we want it to continue to grow. Your couple bucks doesnt seem like it could hurt things in the long run but if you are a big enough fan that youve earned a purple belt here, just think about how many other people dont pay for it and how as that number goes up thats a lot of money. Also not saying you do but often (on sherdog) people that would talk about bootlegging events were also the ones *****ing about fighter pay.
