Who's the best? Who's the worst? Obviously it's all opinion, but I'm sure you have a favorite.

Off the top of my head. I enjoy Herb Dean and Jason Herzog and I HATE Josh Rosenthal!!!

Herb Dean is the best by a big margin.
I think Big John is vastly over rated, he has made a ton of early stoppages.
Worst are Rosenthal, Peoples (I think he's done reffing atleast) and Kate Winslow.

ghostphantom, even Dana White called Mazagatti the worst referee in the MMA world. He stops fights way too early, and seems too eager to make himself involved. A ref should avoid getting involved and being in the spotlight as much as humanly possible.

RWLawman, I've heard White and others make these claims. But I must be missing it since I never notice it. Next couple times I see Mazagatti I'll keep my eye out of him. Since for me I don't notice the ref until he fails to do his job and I say to myself, "why's the ref in this fight?"
