Prediction: correct Gracie   wrong Submission   wrong Round 1

Jardine will probably have the better striking, but I think Gracie will still be able to get it to the ground somehow and get his submission game to work. Still, I think Jardine has more of a chance than people are giving him credit for.

If Jardine can keep it standing, then hes taking this. I'll probably change to Jardine soon.

Fun fact - despite fighting for almost 11 years and going 17-10-2, Jardine has never been submitted in his MMA career. All his losses are (T)KO's (6) and decisions (4). In fact he has two submission victories to his credit from his early years.

Tough fight to pick.

Roger of course could sub anyone, but Jardine has never been tapped in MMA, has much more experience, better striking, and some power.

I think Gracie gets takedowns and dominates position for 3 rounds.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Jardine manage to keep it on the feet and out point him though....maybe even knock him out.

Jardine can fight ... period.  Its always been his chin that has failed him.  this won't be a problem for him against Gracie.  Look for jardine to avoid the clinch and make good contact to Gracies Chin.  The only gotcha is if he tries to throw the leg kick and it gets caught.

Keith Jardine's never been submitted true...but look at the guys he's faced. I don't see any outright submission specialists ANYWHERE, Thiago Silva might have amazing jiu-jitz but he uses it to facilitate GnP, not to submit guys. In fact I think Gegard Mousasi might be the best ground guy he's faced.

Roger Gracie's on a different level, you're not only talking about a freakin' Gracie but you're talking about a guy who's SUBMITTED a badass list of BJJ players.

Alex Ribeiro, Robert Drysdale, Jacare Souza, Shinya Aoki, Fabricio Werdum have ALL tapped to Roger Gracie's skills, and you people are telling me that KEITH FREAKIN' JARDINE WON'T?! The dude's got a belt in Gaidojutsu like that means something, ******* Kenneth Allen's got a black belt in Gaidojutsu. My grandmother's a 3rd degree black belt in ******* Gaidojutsu. Haven's got AT LEAST a 5th degree black belt in Gaidojutsu I bet.

Jardine has an underrated wrestling game, I'm not sure Gracie can just take him that easily.
Also, don't forget he once was a professional boxer going undefeated in 4 fights, plus his unorthodox striking may be too much for a guy like Gracie who is not used to dealing with that sort of opponents.
I agree Jardine is not the same he once was and also has a suspect chin, I'm also not sure how the move to WW could help him but considering what I said above and since this is Gracie's WW debut i'm going with the dean.

@blitzkrieg He doesn't need to wrestle, he's Roger ******' Gracie. The dude could easily pull guard and submit Keith off of his back, no doubt about it.

Why are people so confident of Gracie? The worst thing about Jardine is his chin and Roger's not going to test that, I see Jardine walking right through him.

Jardine could very well win this fight...he did go to a Draw with Mousasi. I just thing Rogaer will be much bigger and if he gets Jardine down..it's pretty much over.

Lol that draw was a robbery to be honest. Mousasi won all three rounds without a doubt in my mind. Jardine would take him down get put into buttefly guard and pushed off allowing Mousasi to get up. Jardine was outstruck the entire fight by miles and miles.
