i think shogun v rampage 2 needs to happen. Both men find themselves at a bit of a crossroads, perhaps in danger of being bypassed by a new breed of light heavyweight.

I think a Rampage vs Shogun II match makes a lot of sense.  It will probably depend on how the timing works out, but Rampage will likely get a title shot if he beats Hamill.  I wouldn't mind seeing Shogun fight the winner of Davis/Lil Nog if that's the case.

I think Shogun v Rampage is most likely to happen. Also would be interested to see Forrest and Bader.

@scottallen i like your thought for that fight, but I think that would be a hell of a step up for Bader after a loss

I hope they feed Vera to him so he can get a tune-up win AND the UFC get rid of Vera again.

I'd love to see Shogun vs Mousasi.  Lot of good ideas in this thread. I'd watch Shogun fight anyone.

I'd be down for Shogun vs Machida 3 but I think the UFC would avoid this.  UFC could market a Jones vs Machida fight, on the angle that Machida's unorthodox style is something Jones has never seen before and might have trouble with it.  So if Machida beats Couture, I bet they put him in a fight where he's the favorite, and getting lined up for a title shot.  Shogun vs Machida would be too likely to mess up such a plan.

If Rampage beats Hammill he will likely be offered a fight between the winner of Jones vs Rashad. There are a lot of options for Shogun at LHW. I like the idea of Shogun vs Forrest 2 the best but if not that Bader is still there, the winner of Davis vs Lil Nog, Thiago Silva, or hell even Rich Franklin. If Dana is feeling cruel towards Tito he could always throw him in with Shogun.

I'd like to see Shogun face the winner of Lil' Nog vs. Phil Davis but since Shogun is medically suspended for a couple of months, he might have to face the winner of Hamill/Jackson.

Defenetly alot of cool Ideas. Rampage vs Shogun II would make alot of sense depending on the out come of the Hamil vs Rampage fight. I still think a healthy Shogun will always have Rampages number. I said it in another thread and Ive seen some other mentions of it in this thread, but I believe the most exciting fight for Shogun in the forseeable future is Thiago Silva (depending on how the tests turn out of course) I just think it would be a brutal war!.  I am really that Interested in a Shogun vs Machida III atleast not right now give it another year then its a defenate maybe in my books. I like the Idea of Machida vs Bones Jones but i think Machida would have to do more than beat Randy Coture to earn the shot considering he is comming off of back to back losses to Shogun and Rampage(controversial I know).
