Lashley vs. Ott Predictions

I can see Titan giving him some behemoth, and marketing it as a superfight. Hong Man Choi, rematch with Bob Sapp, 300 pound Tim Sylvia, or bringing back Giant Silva would all be great.

Ohh. i just thought of something. lashley's boys probably kidnapped James Jack cuz they knew he would beat Lashley. 

Somehow I still had the tiniest amount of hope and respect for Bobby Lashley after this fight, but when he said he didn't gas I lost it.  I guess I gained some respect for John Ott for even taking this fight and surviving the full 15 minutes, but I didn't see anything special in him other than his ability to take damage.  Lashley's denial makes me think he's never going to take cardio seriously and therefore never going to be a real threat in MMA.

I don't have any problem with Lashley, he seems like a nice guy.  Where the whole Bobby Lashley story bothered me, and I think other MMA fans, is when promoters tried to ram it down our throats that he's some unstoppable fighting machine. He's obviously not, he'll never be able to live up to expectations, and everyone ends up feeling let down.  Especially all the fans who might tune in for the first time out of curiosity, see a crappy fight, and come to the wrong conclusion about MMA.

I just want to see him face a legit HW to really test his will.

he just has so much muscle mass it takes all his oxygen lol no joke

Maybe he could have an extra set of internal organs implanted in him.  Another heart and four or five more lungs could get enough oxygen to him.

hes strong enough he needs to stop lifting and do cardio and training 5x5 min rounds

Lashley is way overly muscular, I think I mentioned earlier in this thread about Lashley being an overstuffed MW. A guy with his frame should just stop lifting and drop weight classes. He has a frame of a 185 lb fighter. When he wrestled in college he was at 177 lbs. He is not like Lesnar or Velasquez who are naturally large framed, Lashley is fairly tall but his frame is not meant to carry the muscle he does. That muscle mass he has now is not natural.

I have no idea why he's the size he is, he's not in the WWE anymore, it's just a hindrance. Look how much smaller Lesnar is now to what he was in the WWE. Lashley obviously keeps the heavy weight training going, but why?

Not only have i lost ALL respect for Lashley, but it makes me realize just how amazing it is for Lesnar to be competing at the level he does and to have won the UFC HW title in the timeframe he did. I will certainly never be a huge Lesnar fan, but it brings it into perspective that much more with the accomplishments he's already achieved. Given the ability to take a punch and Lesnar is a nearly unbeatable.
