I think Koch is just one of those next generation fighters who are so well rounded that they're a threat wherever the fight goes. I don't think Assuncao's got the tools to grind down Koch the way Chad Mendes probably did (can't say for sure seeing as I haven't seen the fight, can only imagine).

Assuncao is tough as hell so I don't think Koch will finish him. But I think Koch will win this via superior standup in a hard fought decision.

Assuncao is so inconsistent, it's hard to pick for one of his fights. However, I think Koch is very talented, and he'll win this.

Yeah sweet KO. Both 135 and 145 it's hard to tell how it's all going to shake out over the next couple of years. These divisions are just taking shape and will be getting way more competitive. Young guys like Koch could make a real mark.

Koch slipped in to my top 15 with that fight. It will be a while before anyone fully establishes themselves. This is the biggest exposure the little guys have ever had. WEC was great for them but UFC will help really pull all the fighters into one place.
