Really eager to find out who the coaches will be. Likely Brad Pickett but not sure about the other one.

I actually think it would be interesting if each coach was from a different weight class. Imagine Pickett coaching against Te Huna. haha.

@Buffalo, I don't think they are worried about having big name coaches but rather that they can fight each other at the end of the season.

You mean Lightweight vs Featherewight? Not likely to happen.

I would have liked to seen Both places get thier own versions of TUF. Theres just way to much talent in the UK, and to have to give half of the spots away just puts me off. The talent for australia isnt as abundant as in the uk but they could still put on a competitive all aussie cast. I just dont see the reason to see 1 tuf season get slip between 2 countries. They tried that before with the usa vs uk season and it was one of the worst seasons ever. Talent wise they gave the US team complete ****. And the uk team wasnt much better. With the exception of ross pearson and damarques johnson, none of the guys are still in the ufc.

I may be biased, but I really want to see a TUF Korea vs Japan. That **** would be epic and both countries have more than enough prospects they could bring up. Dong Hyun Kim/Akiyama or  Chan Sung Jung/Hatsu Hioki. I would cream my pants if KZ/Hioki ever happened.

Since Overeem is half English and Mark Hunt is basically considered an Australian (has lived/trained in Australia for 10+ years), that seems the only match up of bigger names that could be put onto the show. That is unless you want someone like Ebersole/Hathaway or Hardy which doesn't seem too appealing, For those who don't know, Ebersole has lived in and fought out of Australia for quite a long time.

MMA4LIFE00, you could do Bisping vs. Lombard to answer that question (if Lombard pans out).  Of course, who would want to watch Bisping as a coach again?  Not many I would guess, especially since he just coached last season.

Pickett would be a good choice and I've read he wants to be the UK's coach.  I forget where I read it but it was after his last fight at a press conference and someone had asked about the rumors of a UK vs. Australia season.

So I'm personally guessing coaches from different weight classes.

Btw, Korea vs. Japan would be cool!

I like the idea of Bisping/Lombard and coaches from different weight classes would be cool but they wouldn't be able to fight eachother at the end of the season

Yeah I think a few fighters on each team is how they are gonna do it this year....

Maybe.....

UK:
Pearson
Hardy
Hathaway
Sass
Pickett

Australia:
Sotiropoulos
Noke
Te Huna (New Zealand so i'm not sure how he'd feel about coaching for Australia)
Perosh
HUNT!!! (Same deal as Te Huna)

That won't happen but it would be pretty cool!

Outside option. McCall/Johnson winner vs Joesph Benavidez. It would promote that division and will be a good lead into their title fight.
