Perosh has been winning by stoppage lately, and Jimmo seems quite tough and good defensively. I think he'll keep it on the feet and win a safe decision.

@Live2wrestle I didn't think of that. I remember watching that fight live ... it was one of the most boring fights I have seen in a long time. Nothing happened for 25 minutes, and when it did, it was usually Sokoudjou doing it.

On the other hand, a knack for winning robberies, or winning fights that should have been draws, is very helpful in MMA and has been ever since decisions came in.

@Diego, if I am remembering correctly, Jimmo employs your typical Karate gameplan, get in and out only he does more of out out part.

I think that Ive lost money every time that Ive bet against Perosh; but I think that Jimmo's karate style and distance game is very tough for a guy like Perosh who absolutely must get inside to get his game rolling.

While Perosh is on a 3 fight winning streak in the UFC, he hasn't beaten anybody truly outstanding (Diabate being what I would say is his best win), and on top of that, he's 40. Jimmo's record does show some pretty decent wins actually against several former UFC fighters. He's not much of a stopper lately, but Perosh has shown he can be KOed by good strikers, so we'll see just how good Ryan Jimmo really is.

Imagine scoring a 7 second KO and not even getting exclusive honors for the fastest KO of the night. Aggression FC's Oren Hanscomb also pulled off a 0:07 finish in his fight with Matt Shannon, just down the road in Courtenay, BC.
