           Dan Minugh was raised in southeast corner of Washington state, in the small town of Asotin. growing up with four older brothers and one sister. at the age of seventeen he saw his first ufc witch was ufc 4. After that he immediately started training in bjj.             

           A few years later he started training with a small mma team form Clarkson Washington, Wolfpack.
