Jonathan "Jon" Sellers is an American mixed martial artist, currently competing in the lightweight division.
Debut (2015):
Jon originally from Hawaii moved to the states to pursue MMA as a career. His first fight would be against Benjamin Goins who was 2-3 at the time. On December 18, 2015 Sellers and Goins engaged In a back and forth fight. The first round saw Sellers land leg kicks and big punches while Goins swung wildly connecting on some and scored take down after getting hit, however he was ineffective with it and Sellers got back to his feet before the rounds end.
In the second round, Goins caught Sellers with a right hand that dropped him and Ben looked to almost had the fight won but exhausted himself punching Seller's arms and not actually connecting, thus allowing Sellers to recover and eventually took Goins back and ended the fight via rear naked choke.
3 days after the fight, Sellers broke his leg in training right after signing a bout agreement to fight on a promotion Montana.
Return (2016):
After leg injury, Sellers was sidelined for nearly 6 months. He returned to the cage almost exactly a year later against
