My Summary

Here is my top 15 P4P fighters as of 5/20. The only fighters that should be in the top 4 for any legitimate P4P list are Anderson Silva taking the top spot and permutation of GSP, Jones, Aldo.

  1. 1

    Anderson "The Spider" Silva
    Anderson Silva
    "The Spider"
    31-4-0
    No explanation needed.
  2. 2

    Jon "Bones" Jones
    Jon Jones
    "Bones"
    16-1-0
He improves from 3 to 2 with his clear victory over Rashad.
  3. 3

    Georges "Rush" St. Pierre
    Georges St. Pierre
    "Rush"
    22-2-0
Despite inactivity, I still have GSP as the number 3 spot because his line of work as the second greatest UFC champion exempts him from dropping down for now,
  4. 4

    Jose "Junior" Aldo
    Jose Aldo
    "Junior"
    21-1-0
Aldo's not losing for a long time after cleaning out his division.
  5. 5

    Dominick "The Dominator" Cruz
    Dominick Cruz
    "The Dominator"
    19-1-0
Cruz takes fifth spot with two title defenses.
  6. 6

    Ben "Smooth" Henderson
    Ben Henderson
    "Smooth"
    16-2-0
By becoming the new champion in the best division in the UFC, Henderson earns the 6th spot.
  7. 7

    Frankie "The Answer" Edgar
    Frankie Edgar
    "The Answer"
    14-2-1
Edgar was previously 5th but still remains in the top 7 because of his overall success against Penn and Maynard when he held the belt.
  8. 8

    Dan "Hendo" Henderson
    Dan Henderson
    "Hendo"
    29-8-0
  9. 9

    Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos
    Junior Dos Santos
    "Cigano"
    14-1-0
  10. 10

    Gilbert "El Nino" Melendez
    Gilbert Melendez
    "El Nino"
    21-2-0
  11. 11+

  12. 11

"The Natural Born Killer" Carlos Condit
    Carlos Condit
"The Natural Born Killer"  |  28-5-0
Carlos Condit, as the Interim Welterweight Champion, takes the eleventh spot. Condit is a very good fighter but I'll be pretty surprised like many if he defeats GSP in the future unified welterweight title fight.
  13. 12

    "Sugar" Rashad Evans
    Rashad Evans
    "Sugar"  |  17-2-1
  14. 13

    Cain Velasquez
    Cain Velasquez
    9-1-0
  15. 14

    Nick Diaz
    Nick Diaz
    26-8-0, 1 NC
  16. 15

    Chael Sonnen
