But while we picked up David Price and have a solid 2nd in Steven Wright, we've got nothing else on the mound. Not good in terms of the playoff picture. We should be good enough to get the division or a Wild Card spot, but Boston's playoff chances will depend too much on streaky offense and inconsistent pitching.
If I had to bet, I still think the Blue Jays might have the best all around team in the AL, with the Red Sox having the best young players. 2017 I like the Sox chances. 2016? Not sure.
Maybe the Cubs will do it this year.
